Good Afternoon!
If you are like me at this time I have had enough emails and texts concerning the election. It's not due to me being uninterested but I know who I'm voting for and don't need another text or email to persuade me otherwise.
In Galatians, the writer continues to share his interest and the need for his readers to join him in his interest in sharing the Gospel. Seriously, isn't that our priority? All of my life I know that God has called me to be a proclaimer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. People need to have a new life in God through Jesus Christ.
The greatest interest I have in the election is to know the heart of God and vote accordingly. For example...I DO NOT want the government to place more demands on my life that will stifle my ability to share Jesus with others. My interest is for the government to protect our citizens and provide freedom for our citizens to live their Faith to the fullest. When the government stays out of the affairs of the church and their work to spread the Gospel from every border in America to every city in America then I feel safer. God's Word teaches the need for people to obey the laws of the government. But it also teaches that God's law is to be obeyed above all. Every believer has a responsibility to prioritize their relationship with God above everything. The government should not be meddling in the affairs of God's business.
I also have an interest in the election when it comes to life, because, God's Word teaches that life comes from God and man should leave it alone. The taking of life is murder and should not be legislated.
In Lifenews.com it was reported about Planned Parenthood...
"It's 2019 annual report, released this week, shows it aborted 345,672 unborn babies — an increase of 3.88% over the abortions it did on unborn babies the year prior."
Therefore, just ONE organization in America has taken the lives of more people than all the deaths from COVD-19. Yet, we have become so unconscious of this activity that is going on in front of us. Another fact that I do not know is the statistic for the number of people in 2020 that have gone into eternity without knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.
You see, the most important things in this election revolve around God. This election may very well determine how free we are to share the Gospel as proclaimed by Paul in the letter to the Galatians.
I vote for freedom! I vote for life! I vote for LESS, not more restrictions by our government.
Make sure you vote. I know the choices may not be the greatest, but, Jesus had to deal with Herrod and the Apostles had to deal with Titus who took down Jerusalem.
